As part of an architectural competition, the planning office abm-Architekten was asked to develop a design for a new, modern interior design for the church of St. Peter. From the very beginning, we used the power of our real-time rendering tools to visualize and further develop our architects' design.
Using Lidar Point Cloud scanners, the building fabric was captured and then remodeled and textured in the highest level of detail. The realistic model helped us to always have a perfect understanding of the renovation object, even from a distance, and to plan to the millimeter. With the help of the real-time visualization, we were able to impressively stage not only structural interventions, but also various lighting scenarios and finally present them to the customer.
